Claude AI Masterclass For Non-Technical Professionals

Stop Scrolling. Start Building. Learn Claude the Right Way.

Everyone Is Talking About Claude. Almost Nobody Is Using It Properly.

This one-day masterclass is designed for students, working professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners who want to leverage Claude AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, boost productivity, and achieve more in less time.

There is more noise about Claude AI online than ever — viral reels, clickbait “hacks,” random GitHub libraries, and influencers selling shortcuts that either don’t work or put your data at risk.

Meanwhile, the people who actually understand Claude are quietly using it to work faster, think better, and automate the tasks that used to take hours.

This one-day masterclass cuts through all of it.

You’ll learn how Claude actually works, what it can genuinely do for your work and business, and how to build real AI-powered workflows — using only official, safe, Anthropic-native tools.

No random downloads. No misleading shortcuts. Just structured, practical knowledge that works.

Workshop Module

This workshop focusses on how to use Claude safely, strategically, and with authority.

Morning builds your foundation in safe, compliant AI usage. Afternoon puts it into practice with hands-on builds and real Claude AI use cases.

Module 1 — Understanding Claude & Using It at Full Capability

The foundation most people never get — and the reason most people only use 20% of what Claude can do

Before building anything, you need the mental model and the setup that makes everything else work. This module covers both — what agentic AI actually is, why Claude is different from a regular chatbot, and how to use Claude’s full feature set on real work you bring to the session.

Topics Covered

What separates a chatbot from an AI agent — planning, memory, tools, and action

The agentic AI stack: how Claude, automation tools, and external apps fit together as a system

Common use cases for agentic AI in business and knowledge work — real examples, not hypothetical ones

Tour of claude.ai — Projects, Memory, and Web Search and what each one actually does for your productivity

How to structure prompts that produce business-grade outputs consistently — not generic responses

Working with documents: uploading, interrogating, and extracting structured information from files

Using Artifacts to produce polished, reusable deliverables

Activity: you identify three repetitive tasks from your own work — these become your personal project thread for the rest of the day

Hands-on exercise: upload a real work document, use Claude to extract key information and produce a structured summary saved as an Artifact

What You’ll Walk Away With

A clear mental model of how Claude and AI agents actually work

A properly configured Claude workspace with Projects and Memory set up

The prompting framework that produces consistent, high-quality output

Three tasks from your own work identified and ready for automation

Module 2 — Claude as an Agent: Cowork, Dispatch & Claude Code

From Claude as a chat tool to Claude working autonomously on your behalf

This is the centrepiece of the masterclass. You’ll set up the three tools that transform Claude from a chat interface into an agent that takes action — connecting to your apps, accepting tasks from your phone, and working with files and code on your computer. The instructor demonstrates each part live and you implement it immediately after.

Topics Covered

Cowork

What Cowork is and how it differs from the standard chat interface

Connecting Claude to Gmail and Google Drive — authentication and permissions

Setting up scheduled tasks — what you can delegate to Claude and leave running

You set up your own Cowork environment and verify at least one live connector

Dispatch

What Dispatch is — a persistent Claude agent you can give tasks to from your phone

How the phone-to-desktop workflow works in practice

Live demo: instructor assigns a task from phone, execution shown on screen

You set up Dispatch and assign your first real task

Claude Code

What Claude Code is and why it is different from Claude in the browser

Installation walkthrough — step by step on your own laptop

Running a first command to confirm everything is working

What Claude Code can do that no other Claude interface can

What You’ll Walk Away With

Cowork set up and connected to at least one external app

Dispatch installed and operational on your phone with a completed task

Claude Code installed and running on your laptop

Module 3 — Connecting Claude to Everything: Automation with Make.com & Zapier

Claude alone is powerful. Claude connected to everything you already use is a different category entirely

This module moves from Claude as a standalone tool to Claude embedded inside your broader work systems. The instructor builds a complete automation flow live on screen — you replicate it on your own account in real time, test it end-to-end, and leave with a working automation that runs without you.

Topics Covered

What Make.com and Zapier add that Claude alone cannot do — triggers, scheduling, multi-app routing

The anatomy of an automation: Trigger, Action, Output — how to think about any workflow before building it

Connecting Claude to Make.com or Zapier using native integrations

Building a multi-step automation flow — live build, you follow along and complete it on your own account

Testing, debugging, and iterating — how to confirm your flow is working correctly

How to handle errors and conditional logic in flows

What You’ll Walk Away With

A working Make.com or Zapier flow connecting Claude to at least one external app — built, tested, and running on your account

Module 4 — Build Your Own AI Agent + What's Next

The capstone of the day — you build and own a functioning AI agent, and leave knowing exactly what to do next

Everything from the previous three modules comes together here. You’ll build a working AI agent using Claude Code and the Claude API — guided step by step with starter materials provided. No prior coding experience required. The focus is on understanding what you’re building, customising it around a real task from your own work, and leaving with a clear plan for what to do in the next seven days.

Topics Covered

What a coding agent is and how it differs from a workflow automation — plain language explanation before any code is written

How the components of an AI agent fit together as a system

Setting up the project structure using provided starter materials

Connecting to the Claude API using the Anthropic SDK — instructor guides every step

Writing the core agent logic and running it on a real task

Customising your agent around one of the three tasks you identified in Module 1

Volunteers share their running agent with the group

Key concepts covered across the full day — consolidated and connected

Claude Pro vs Max: which plan fits different usage levels after today

Three things to do in the next seven days to maintain momentum

Open Q&A

What You’ll Walk Away With

A functioning AI agent — built by you, running on your laptop, connected to the Claude API

A 7-day action plan — specific next steps, not vague advice
