Maharashtra’s best kept secrets aren’t all that difficult to travel to. The mention of the word malvanbrings to mind Tarkarli beach. However, there are other less explored beaches which we have curated in this itinerary for the discerning traveler. Expect soft white sand and crystal clear ocean water.

Itenerary:

Day 1: Early morning departure to Deobag at 0500 hrs. (approx. 9 hrs. including stops). Enroute breakfast & lunch. Check into a hotel on arrival at Devbaugh. Evening visit the Sindhudurga at Malvan followed by dinner. Stay at the hotel back in Devbaugh.

Day 2; After breakfast take a boat ride to the Tsunami Island to enjoy watersports like water scooter, bumpy ride, banana ride & parasailing (optional) before heading to Tsunami Island. This is the place from where boats set out in search of dolphins leaping out of the water. You may get lucky and spot a pod of over a 100 at a time too! Ride through the Sangam point where the back waters meet the Arabian Sea after the dolphin safari. Post lunch, you’re free to decide your schedule until dinner time.

Day 3: After breakfast, we drive to the densely forests mountains of Amboli as the clouds curl up along the canopy. Enjoy the spectacular view of the valley & Konkan down below from a vantage point. Check into a hotel and have lunch. Later visit the origin of the Hiranyakeshi River, Manohargad and Madhavgad. We return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 4: After breakfast explore the forests of Amboli or Sawantwadi. You’re well advised to carry a pair of binoculars to look out for the multitude of birds found here. Recently, a huge herd of elephants from Karnataka have migrated into Sawantwadi. You might catch a glimpse of the herd if you’re lucky.

Day 5: After breakfast departure to Mumbai. Lunch enroute (Drive approx. 9 hrs. including stops)
