Discover the magic of science at the Curiouscity Science Discovery Centre – Bangalore’s first hands-on interactive edutainment centre. Located on a lush two-acre campus off Sarjapur Road, Curiouscity offers children and families an engaging space to explore the wonders of science through interactive and inquiry-based learning.

What a thrilling experience it was to spend a day at Curious City! If you want your kids to fall in love with science, take them here. The space is packed with experiments that get kids exploring physics, chemistry, biology, and so much more. I honestly think you need at least two visits to fully explore everything this place has to offer. And it’s not just the kids, the adults too were just as fascinated by science by the end of the visit. The facilitators were incredibly helpful and patient, taking the time to explain each experiment in detail and encouraging kids to explore and ask questions. The escape room adventure was super exciting too. A big thank you to Shonali Chinniah for making this space exist in Bangalore. Three hours of learning in simplest way. Visited “Curiosity Science Center” and felt nostalgic with all the science concepts and experiments learnt in my school or college days. Volunteers are very active and patient with kids in demonstrating experiments. Highly recommend place for parents and kids both who wants to know science and connect. Animal park and tyre park is engaging for kids. Kudos to people who have come up with this great idea of giving kids live experience of science outside their regular academics. Visited and had an amazing experience! It’s a perfect place for all age groups where science is explained in the most fun and interactive way. Every room is dedicated to a different concept like light, sound, illusion, and more - making us realize that it’s not magic, there’s science behind every concept we see around us. Kids will absolutely love the musical steps, giant bubbles, guitar activities, and hands-on experiments. One of the best parts was interacting with rabbits, iguana, birds, and guinea pigs - even getting to hold them in our hands! The place is very engaging, educational, and entertaining at the same time. They also have a nice cafeteria to relax and chill after exploring. This was my third visit to Curioscity Science Centre, and unfortunately, the most disappointing one. We were two families with children, visiting with the hope of making the trip a fun and memorable experience for the kids. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be exactly the opposite of what we had hoped for, and we left quite disappointed. The biggest issue was poor communication around the ticket slots. We reached within the time mentioned on our tickets, which had also been confirmed over the phone, but were later asked to come in the second slot, resulting in a wait of around 1.5 hours. The explanation kept changing, and eventually we were told that there was insufficient staff to accommodate us. The handling of the situation was also disappointing. Instead of simply acknowledging the mistake, some staff became defensive, and there was unnecessary attention directed towards the children, making the experience uncomfortable. The exhibits were also quite basic and poorly maintained, and considering the ticket price, the overall experience did not feel worth the time or money. Having visited three times, I genuinely feel this was the weakest experience so far. Curioscity has good potential, but better communication, adequate staffing, professional staff behaviour, and proper exhibit maintenance are clearly needed. We came hoping to create a memorable day for our children, but unfortunately, we were left with a very different memory.Read More
