This session focuses specifically on finding financing for South Asian films from international film funds in Europe. The panel discusses the various steps that a director/producer must go through—from application, script and production, to sales and distribution—in order to successfully find funding and collaborators for their film, and offers filmmakers from the region a realistic perspective on what makes a film potentially attractive for international co-productions and film funds.
