Build yourself a future at the Design & Build 2016. The workshop will introduce participants to the art of building with natural materials like bamboo and earth using both traditional knowledge and modern techniques along with understanding its environmental impacts.

Method of facilitation

Practice and theory on various aspects of building with bamboo and earth through interactive sessions between facilitators and peers.

Facilitators

The workshop is facilitated by Azeer Attari, Shahveer Irani and Areen Attari from Put Your Hands Together (PYHT) and Sankalpa and Nikhil Patel from Thumbimpressions Collaborative (TIC), both of which are architecture firms based in Mumbai and Ahmedabad respectively that have been practicing sustainable architecture and have facilitated several workshops on natural construction.
