Conceptualised by Sumeet, this presentation traces the fascinating journey of Dhrupad through a curated selection of raag, taal and compositions, interwoven with insights into their historical significance, cultural context and evolution over time.
His vocals will be accompanied by the Pakhawaj, Sarangi and Tanpura instruments deeply rooted in the traditional Dhrupad repertoire bringing alive the depth, richness and timeless character of this extraordinary musical tradition.
