DIVINE (Vivian Fernandes) is a Mumbai-based rapper widely regarded as the face of Indian Hip-Hop. His raw storytelling and breakout hit “Mere Gully Mein” put Gully Rap on the map and inspired the Bollywood hit Gully Boy, a film that won 13 Filmfare Awards and garnered recognition at MTV EMA, Zee Cine, and IIFA, pushing Indian Rap into the mainstream. His debut album Kohinoor (2019) and follow-ups Punya Paap (2020) and Gunehgar (2022) delivered chart-topping singles. Each project pushed sonic boundaries while staying rooted in street realism. He’s worked with global icons like Metallica, Nas, Pusha T, Russ, Sidhu Moosewala, Sid Sriram, Jadakiss, Dave East, and Armani White. In 2024, he teamed up with Karan Aujla for Street Dreams, a groundbreaking Hindi-Punjabi crossover that topped Apple Music Charts across multiple countries and charted on Billboard Canada. His track “Baazigar” was played in front of a full stadium at Camp Nou during an FC Barcelona match. He’s also headlined major live festivals like Sole DXB, Lollapalooza India, NH7 Weekender, VH1 Supersonic, and he became the first artist to perform at IPL Final Mid-Innings Show in 202,3, which was experienced live by 100,000 in-stadium fans and watched by 80 million on TV & OTT.
