Course Content


Duration: 2 Days (14-16 HRS)


1. Introduction to Multicopter


○ An overview of multicopters, including their history, types, and


basic principles of flight.


2. Base of Multicopter


○ Detailed discussion on the frame structure, materials used, and design considerations for stability and durability.


3. Motors


○ Exploration of different types of motors used in multicopters,


their specifications, and selection criteria.


4. Electronic Speed Controller (ESC)


○ Explanation of ESC functionality, types, and their role in controlling motor speed and performance.


5. Overview of Sensor


○ Insight into various sensors used in multicopters, including


gyroscopes, accelerometers, and GPS, and their importance in


flight stability and navigation.


6. Introduction to Flight Controller Board


○ Detailed introduction to flight controller boards, their features, and how they integrate various components for stable flight.


7. Introduction to Battery


○ Overview of battery types, specifications, charging methods,


and safety considerations for multicopters. 


8. Radio Devices


○ Explanation of radio transmitters and receivers,


communication protocols, and range considerations.


9. Applications


○ Discuss various applications of multicopters, including photography, agriculture, surveillance, and delivery services.


10. Surveillance and Mapping


○ Techniques and technologies used in aerial surveillance and


mapping, including software tools and practical applications.


11. Additive Manufacturing in Quadcopter


○ Exploration of how 3D printing and other additive manufacturing techniques are used in designing and building quadcopter components.


12. Assembling the Kit


○ Step-by-step guide on assembling a multicopter kit, including


tips and best practices for a successful build.


13. Installation of Software and Debugging


○ Instructions on installing necessary software for flight control, troubleshooting common issues, and debugging techniques.


14. Live Flying Session with Experts


○ Information on participating in a live flying session, including


expert tips, hands-on practice, and safety measures.
