GameCraft: Build Skills Through Guided Board Game Play 🎲

Session Description:

Step into a world where learning meets fun! Our monthly GameCraft Workshop, in collaboration with The Board Game Project, turns ordinary board games into extraordinary tools for building essential life skills. 

Through guided gameplay, children will explore strategy, teamwork, and problem-solving — all while having a blast with curated games from around the world. Each session introduces a fresh mix of board games that strengthen different thinking and social skills, helping kids learn how to plan, adapt, and collaborate with others.

Session Plan:

Welcome & Introduction 

The session begins with a short introduction to the world of strategic play. Facilitators will explain how board games help in building important life skills like focus, logic, and decision-making — setting an exciting tone for the day.

Game 1: Connectors Mission Space 

Kids will dive into this thrilling space-themed board game, where they’ll connect pathways and complete missions. This activity strengthens logical reasoning and problem-solving while keeping the fun alive.

Game 2: Match & Move Memory (Focus & Visual Memory) 

In this round, kids will test their observation and focus through a memory-matching challenge. The aim is to improve visual recall, attention to detail, and mental agility.

Game 3: Think A Link (Decision-Making Edition) 

Now it’s time for quick thinking and strategy! Kids will make smart choices under time pressure, improving their decision-making and strategic planning skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Wrap up, Quick Quiz & Feedback 

The session ends with a short reflection circle where kids share what they learnt and how each game made them think differently. Facilitators will celebrate teamwork, creativity, and effort, ending the day on a cheerful note!

💛 Important Instructions:

1. Please make sure your child eats well before the session — we’ll be busy crafting and won’t have a snack break.

2. Bring along a water bottle to stay refreshed.

3. Dress your child in comfortable clothes — things might get a little sparkly!

4. Arrive 5–10 minutes early so your child can settle in comfortably before we start.

5. Parents are requested to drop off and pick up after the session. Limited waiting outside the studio; no waiting inside EuroKids reception or classrooms, please.

6. We are located on the 2nd floor inside the EuroKids Pre-School premises. If you have trouble finding us, just ask the EuroKids staff or call our team—we’ll be happy to guide you.

7. If you’d prefer that your child’s photos not be shared on social media, simply let us know when you arrive.
