A truly global phenomenon - created by musician and songwriter Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett - bassist Murdoc Niccals, singer 2D, drummer Russel Hobbs and guitarist Noodle first came together to blow up a pre-digital world with the release of debut track ‘Tomorrow Comes Today’ in 2000. The Gorillaz live experience draws on 25 years of genre-bending, paradigm-shifting, consistently innovative musical brilliance. The Mountain Tour will see the groundbreaking virtual band brought to life on Indian soil for the first time, with Damon Albarn joined onstage by the Gorillaz live band and special guest performers, including many of Gorillaz’ Indian collaborators on acclaimed album The Mountain, for what promises to be three very special shows.
