✨ Gulzar – A Theatrical Experience by Once Upon India ✨

Some words stay with us forever. They become a part of our childhood, accompany us on train journeys, and remind us of love that stayed and love that quietly slipped away. Gulzar is a heartfelt tribute to Gulzar Sahab, one of India's most cherished poets, lyricists, and storytellers, whose words have touched generations and become an emotion in themselves.

🎭 About the Experience

Once Upon India's first theatrical experience brings together three art forms — storytelling, singing, and dance — to celebrate the timeless world of Gulzar Sahab. Through some of his most magical songs, evocative stories, and expressive Kathak performances, the evening offers an intimate journey into the thoughts, emotions, and poetry behind his work.

🎤 Meet the Troupe

• Pavithra Chari: Trained in Hindustani classical music and a disciple of Smt. Shubha Mudgal, Pavithra has lent her voice to compositions by celebrated music directors, including A.R. Rahman and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She brings Gulzar Sahab's timeless words to life through her soulful voice.

• Saloni Saraf: A Kathak artist trained under Gauri Sharma Tripathi and Sujata Banerjee, Saloni brings poetry to life through graceful movement, allowing dance to flow alongside the emotions and meanings of Gulzar Sahab's words.
