Guru Rewben Mashangva

Guru Rewben Mashangva is a Padma Shri awardee and pioneer of Naga Folk Blues from Manipur. A folk artist, musicologist and Director of the Naga Folk Music Academy, he is dedicated to preserving Tangkhul Naga traditions through performance, research and instrument-making. With three albums and extensive international performances, he has received the National Tribal Award and multiple state honours for his contribution to tribal folk music.
