The Guwahati Marathon stands as Assam's first-ever AIMS-certified full marathon — AIMS-certified since its very first edition in 2024, placing Northeast India firmly on the global running map from day one. Certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races, it carries the same international stamp of credibility as the world's most iconic marathons, from Boston to Berlin.

Runners take on a meticulously measured, world-class course through the heart of Guwahati, blending elite competitive racing with the warmth of a true community celebration. From the Full Marathon to the Half, the 10K City Run, and the family-friendly 5K Joy Run, every distance is built to international standards — accurate, certified, and race-ready for runners chasing personal bests or their first finish line.

Now in its 3rd edition, the Guwahati Marathon has grown from a regional running event into one of India's most prestigious marathons — drawing elite athletes, passionate run clubs, and thousands of everyday runners into a single, unforgettable morning. This is more than a race; it's Assam's arrival on the world stage of distance running.
