an artist whose music ‘effortlessly straddles old-world charm and modern flair’, Hansika Pareek is a 23 year-old singer, songwriter and composer from Ajmer, Rajasthan. Trained in Hindustani classical music, she has completed her Sangeet Visharad, which forms the foundation of her practice as a musician. She began sharing her work through YouTube and Instagram in 2018, building an early community before transitioning to original music. Her single Ratiyaan marked that shift, crossing 30 million views solely on her YouTube channel and establishing her as a young artist with a growing listener base beyond social platforms. She currently sits on 9.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. This was also the period when Hansika toured & performed with Amit Trivedi on his live shows. As a singer, over the years, she has collaborated with celebrated composers including Amit Trivedi, Salim-Sulaiman and Vishal Mishra to name a few. Her 2025 collaboration with Vishal Mishra, Tum Ho Toh from the Hindi blockbuster film Saiyaara, entered the Spotify India charts at #28. Her recent body of work also includes Rangeeni (with Amit Trivedi and Jubin Nautiyal), Yaad Tumhari Aayi (for Salim-Sulaiman’s Bhoomi 2025), Ajeeb-O-Gareeb (alongside Arijit Singh for the film ‘Azaad’), Sajna (with Darshan Raval). As a composer and songwriter, Hansika’s long-term focus is on building a body of original work that reflects her musical identity while extending her voice to film music. She represents a new generation of Indian artists navigating both independent and film music as the scene demands.
