Born into a musical family, Manali Bose received her early training from Smt. Debjani Basu and later refined her artistry under Pt. Arun Bhaduri at ITC Sangeet Research Academy, where she was trained for over two decades as a senior Scholar. Her exposure to various Gharanas and Gurus at ITC SRA has shaped a versatile gayaki that blends diverse stylistic elements. She specializes in the Lucknow-style Thumri, trained by Ustad Golam Emam, a foremost disciple of Pt. Dhruba Tara Joshi of Lucknow and her musical depth is further enriched under Sitar Nawaz Amzad Hossain of the Etawah Imdadkhani Gharana.

An esteemed mentor, Manali has conducted workshops globally and is currently spearheading the much acclaimed digital archival project "1001 Bandishes of the Great Maestros" curated by Satrangee.
