Hum Nawazi | Kurdistan to Rajasthan is a live concert, conceptualised and led by Iranian-Kurdish percussionist and composer Dr. Sina Fakhroddin. Featuring the daf, tombak, kamaicha, dholak, morchang, bhapang, and khartal, this musical dialogue brings together two ancient traditions - from the mountains of Kurdistan to the sands of Rajasthan. Alongside new arrangements and improvisations, the concert also features some of the oldest songs from the Manganiyar repertoire. With Dara Khan on kamaicha and Sawai Khan on vocals and folk percussion, this is a rare chance to hear centuries-old music reimagined for a present-day audience.
