Kolkata based theater group Hypokrites will stage their upcoming show of ‘Tobe Tai’ on 19th February, 2023 at Gyan Manch. This will be our 30th production. We will be honored if you are present for the show. 

About the play ‘Tobe Tai’

The story is adapted from Nobel laureate Italian dramatist Luigi Pirandello’s ‘Right you are (if you think so)’. The story is about a family who took rent in a locality and neighbors are curious about them. It is a suspense story. A couple with an old lady took the rent. But their behavior and relationship was confusing for the neighbors. They tried to solve the confusion but failed repeatedly.

About the group Hypokrites

Tobe Tai will be Hypokrites 30th production. Before this some plays like ‘In Love?’, ‘Amra Bangali Jati’, ‘Bhojo Gourango Kotha’, ‘Priya Cafe’, ‘16 Pata’ and many others were staged by the group. Hypokrites had also done street plays like ‘Media’, ‘Black and White’, ‘Hatyare’ and others. The group has done intimate theater also.
