Most people think improvisers are fearless; the truth is they've simply learned what to do when they don't know what to do.
This beginner-friendly introduction to improv is designed for anyone who's ever worried about saying the wrong thing, running out of ideas, or freezing up in front of others. Through fun games, simple exercises, and guided scene work, you'll learn how to trust your instincts, embrace uncertainty, and stay present when things don't go according to plan.
Throughout the course, you'll explore the core principles of improvisation, collaborative storytelling, and spontaneous creativity in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
No acting or stage experience is required. You don't need to be funny, quick-witted, or confident. All you need is a willingness to step on stage and discover that you're capable of more than you think.
Schedule
This course runs over two consecutive weekends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on all four days:
• Saturday, June 20
• Sunday, June 21
• Saturday, June 27
• Sunday, June 28
A special Graduation Show is tentatively planned for Sunday, July 5, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The audience will consist exclusively of friends and family, creating a supportive environment for participants taking the stage for the first time.
