Artist Siva Reddy

Kalamkari workshop with Shipguru and limca book record holder, Kalamkari Master Artist Siva Reddy. Participants will learn the authentic process of Kalamkari from Master Artist Siva Reddy who is visiting from Shrikalahasti and will get a chance to create their very own kalamkari artwork in the authentic way with the traditional materials used in Kalamkari artwork.

Steps we will follow in this workshop:

•  This artwork shown in the first image will be simplified a bit and traced on the  cloth.  
•  Process of coloring
•  Process of boiling will be explained (not done during the workshop) and access to our kalamkari masterclass will also be provided to all participants.

All materials for the workshop will be provided.

Materials Included:

• Cotton cloth prepared by the artist
• Natural Colours made by the artist- Black, Red, Yellow, and Blue- we will only be using four colours for completing this artwork
• Traditional Bamboo pen for sketching and painting
• Some A4 sized paper to practise sketching, pencil etc.
