Kati Patang Trial Room's first show of 2026 will feature a unique listening experience that will be witnessed in Delhi for the first time called - Tamil Jazz Collective.

The lead singer of the band - Harini Iyer - is a song creator and a music educator renowned for her captivating fusion of classical Indian music with contemporary genres such as Soul, Pop and Jazz. The concept of 'Tamil Jazz' emerged from her fascination with an array of new melodic possibilities of native languages. She discovered that the Tamil language’s phonetic and rhythmic qualities blend beautifully with Jazz’s harmonic structures, creating a fresh approach to both genres.

This fusion respects both traditions while creating something new and the project bridges cultural and musical gaps - a true embodiment of what the audience gets to discover on the Kati Patang Trial Room stage.
