About

At the Ākhyān Festival, we are staging a Sharad Joshi's Original. The play "Andhon ka Hathi" written by Sharad Joshi forces us to rethink the problems present in society. In this play, we see that some blind people search for an elephant and try to feel it by touching it.

Each person touches a different part of the elephant and describes it differently based on their experience. One says that the elephant is a pillar, another says it is a rope, and another says it is a wall. Everyone has their own definitions.

But what is the elephant after all? Sharad Joshi forces the audience to think about this question, what is the elephant and what does it represent or signify. The answer to this question will be revealed only when you watch the play at Ākhyān Festival.
