The next episode of the Kitchen Table is a slow, cozy tea party and you are invited.
This time, we’ll be baking from The Vintage Baker — a charming collection of old-fashioned bakes that will go down great with copious amounts of tea.
How will this work?
1. Once you register, you’ll be added to a WhatsApp group where we’ll share a selection of recipes.
2. Choose one that calls to you (or two, if you’re feeling adventurous), make it at home, and bring it to the table on Sunday.
We’ll have a range of teas from Sri Lanka, China, Japan, India, Nepal, Thailand brewing — Jasmine, Green, Black, Thai, Rooibos — light enough to keep pouring through the afternoon. If there’s a tea you love you’d like to bring along, you’re welcome to.
Why a tea party at the Kitchen Table?
The Kitchen Table has always felt like the most honest place. It’s where conversations stretch out. Where someone says, “have another piece.” Where things don’t need to be polished.
The idea is simple: Share stories, sip slowly, and let the afternoon melt a little.
Looking forward to a table full of bakes, warm (or iced) cups in hand, and good company.
Limited seats.
