Hello Shillong!

We are Kommune - A collective of artists headquartered in Mumbai. We are the organizers of India's largest Spoken word festival - Spoken, which happens every year in Mumbai. Over the last 19 months we have been organizing various events, workshops, open mics, shows in 25+ cities, and we were eager to come to the Scotland of east. After a long wait we are coming to you.

We know that the city of Shillong has got so many talented poets, storytellers and musicians, and are looking for a stage to showcase their art. And thus we are here. This 25th August we are organizing our very first Open Mic in the city of Shillong, and we welcome you all with an open heart.
