A fun, interactive 3-hour food literacy workshop for children aged 6–12 years.
Today’s packaged foods are designed to look healthy. Bright packaging, cartoon characters, “natural” claims, hidden sugars, and confusing ingredient lists make it difficult for children, and even adults, to know what’s really inside their favourite snacks.
At the Label Detective Workshop, children learn how to decode food labels, uncover marketing tricks, and make smarter food choices through games, live product comparisons, and engaging hands-on activities.
Instead of simply telling children what’s “good” or “bad,” the workshop helps them learn how to think independently about the food they eat.
By the end of the workshop, every child walks out as a Certified Food Label Detective.
