The workshop will have 2 one-hour sessions which will be covered in 2 consecutive days. This will be conducted as live and practice sessions with your mentor. In this course, your mentor will help you practice with tanpura, sargam and different alankars. You will also understand how to build your voice and use textures, vibratos, and riffs.

Day 2 topics:

• Voice culture
• Song breakdown
• Range extension
• Chord Formulae
• Ragas and History
• Types of Ragas
• Basics of Raag Yaman

Post-workshop:

• Create your alankaras and have detailed knowledge about them.
• Get clarity of playback singing techniques.
• Know Dos and Don'ts of LIVE and Studio singing
• Be one step closer to sing professionally

Get to know your instructor:

Pawan Chaube is an independent vocal artist of Indian Music forms, received his training from Kirana Gharana. He is also trained in Semi-Classical music like Thumri, Dadra, and many more and is also trained in Light Music like Bhajan, Ghazal, etc,. He is a vocal trainer BABA THE SCHOOL OF MUSIC, Varanasi. He has won many competitions like Sangeet Natak Academy music competition, 2013 and Won 1st position in Spandan, 2017.
