Workshop Description:

The workshop will have 2 one-hour sessions which will be covered in 2 consecutive days. This will be conducted as live and practice sessions with your mentor. In this course, your mentor will cover the fundamentals of music production. You’ll also learn how to Quantize and record a MIDI and the use of Scale assistant in Cubase.

Day 1 topics:

• MIDI Quantize
• Recording  MIDI
• Note Length
• Scale Assistant

Day 2 topics:

• Pitch Blending
•  Layering
•  Grouping
• Loops
• Samples

Post-workshop:

• Know basics of Music Production theory. 
• Have enhanced understanding of Structure & arrangement of a song.
• Mix & Master a song 
• Setup your own Home Studio.

Get to know your instructor:

Namin Nooman  is a professional music producer with 15+ years of experience in teaching/training for YAMAHA Guitar, Piano, Drums, Vocals, and many more. He has an independent studio "The Soundship" and has worked on Cubase, Ableton, Reaper, and many more hardware and software instruments and plug-ins. He learned DAW from Friedemann Tischmeyer and has worked on a book "Internal Mixing". He learned guitar from Mattias IA Eklundh in Sweden and Piano from Canadian Paul Stewart. He is YAMAHA’s Teacher’s Trainer.
