🌟 Workshop Description

Does your child love rainbows, soft clouds, and dreamy skies? 🌈☁️

In this cheerful and calming art workshop, children will learn how to create a beautiful Rainbow & Clouds artwork using soft pastels. Children explore how colours blend gently into each other, while also reflecting on the idea of love, and spending time with their loved ones.

Through guided steps, children will explore blending, shading, and layering, while expressing emotions and happy memories through colour. They will also learn how to create a balanced composition with rainbows, clouds, and sky, developing both their artistic skills and attention to detail.

By the end of the workshop, each child will take home a beautiful pastel artwork — and a heart full of warmth, creativity, and love.

🌟 Session Plan

💛 Introduction to Soft Pastels (10 mins)

We’ll start by exploring what soft pastels are and how they can be used to create smooth, soft colour transitions. Kids will see a quick demo on blending techniques.

🎨 Creating the Sky & Rainbow (70 mins)

Children will sketch their scene and learn how to blend pastel shades to form a colourful rainbow and dreamy sky. They’ll practice pressure control, colour layering, and smooth blending.

🌟 Wrap-up, Art Walk & Sharing (10 mins)

We’ll end with a joyful art walk where children admire each other’s creations, share what they enjoyed most, and celebrate their finished masterpieces!
