LIGHT STAR GUIDING has been active since 2018, blending jazz and alternative music into powerful live performances. Their 2019 debut album gained wide recognition, and early shows included the Tchnienia Festival with composer Hania Rani.

The band brings together seasoned musicians: guitarist and producer Mikołaj Poncyljusz (HoTS, Bezpańskie Psy), British saxophonist Ray Dickaty (Spiritualized, Moonshake), pianist Michał Załęski (Jazzpospolita, Niechęć), and drummer Dominik Mokrzewski (Warsaw Improvisers Orchestra, Niechęć).

Recent highlights include the 2024 JAZZ PO POLSKU Festival in Warsaw and an upcoming appearance at the Nishville International Jazz Festival in Serbia. In late 2025, they will tour India as part of the JAZZ PO POLSKU “Around the World” project, which has already brought Polish jazz to 25 countries.
