Lighter Case Making Workshop

Join us for a fun and hands on Lighter Case Making Workshop where you will learn how to transform a simple lighter into a completely unique character case made by you.

This is a beginner friendly creative workshop where we will guide you through the entire process from the very beginning to the final finishing touches. You do not need any previous experience with clay or art. Just come with your ideas and creativity and we will help you bring them to life.

What will we do

Learn the complete process-

We will teach you the full start to finish process of making a customised lighter case so you can understand every stage of creating your piece.

Working with clay-

Learn the basics of handling and working with clay including moulding shaping and building different forms.

Creating the base-

You will learn how to create and shape a suitable clay base for your lighter before starting your design.

Create your own design-

This is where you get to be creative. You can come up with your own character concept and turn it into a personalised lighter case.

Give your lighter a personality-

Add facial features expressions textures shapes colours and other details to create a character that feels completely yours. Your design can be cute creepy funny strange colourful minimal or anything you want.

Your design your way-

Every participant will create their own unique design. There are no fixed designs that everyone has to follow. You can experiment and make something that represents your own style and personality.

Guidance throughout the workshop-

Even if you have never worked with clay before there is nothing to worry about. We will be there throughout the process to help you with your ideas designs techniques and finishing touches.

Everything is provided-

You do not need to bring any art supplies with you. All the materials required for the workshop will be provided including:

Clay

Sculpting tools

Colours

Other required art materials

All you have to do is show up and get creative.

Meet and socialise-

The workshop is not just about making a lighter case. It is also a space to spend some time creating alongside other creative and like minded people.

Come with your friends or come by yourself. Exchange ideas take inspiration from each others creations meet new people and enjoy a relaxed creative experience while working with your hands.

Take your creation home-

The best part is that you will not just learn something new during the workshop. You will also have your own customised lighter case that you created during the session.

Once you are done you can take your creation home with you and keep the character that you designed and made yourself.
