Printmaking is an ancient technique, with roots in East Asia, discovered as a way to distribute artwork amongst many people before the digital revolution. A single carved surface (wood, lino, or metal) can produce multiple prints, and each print is considered an original "impression".

Learn this technique with your mentor for this workshop, carve your pattern or scenery on a lino sheet and create custom monochrome prints on paper, tote bags or cushion covers. You also get to take back your carved Lino sheet to create more and more prints :)
