This Buddha Purnima, children are invited to experience art in a calmer, more thoughtful way. 🌿
The session introduces kids to the life and teachings of Lord Buddha in a simple, engaging manner—focusing on values like peace, kindness, and awareness. To set the tone, the workshop begins with a short meditation and breathing exercise, helping children relax, settle their thoughts, and ease into a peaceful creative space.
Children will then work on a large canvas painting, creating their own Buddha artwork step-by-step. The canvases will be lightly pre-marked to support them, guided through basic canvas techniques like colour layering, brush control, and composition, while maintaining a calm and focused pace. Soft, calming music will play in the background, creating a soothing environment that encourages focus and relaxation.
The emphasis is not on rushing, but on creating with patience, intention, and a sense of calm—allowing each child to enjoy the process and express themselves freely.
👕 Dress Code: Light, comfortable cotton clothes that can get messy. Kids will be seated on the floor, so outfits should allow easy movement.
