Ranzen is a Kathmandu-based producer and DJ who has spent the last decade pushing Nepal’s underground scene into the cultural mainstream.

With over 15 years in the scene, he brings together techno, bass, breaks and jungle with indigenous vocals, traditional instruments and field recordings gathered across Nepal. The result is a sound that is deeply rooted yet relentlessly forward-moving, where local sonic identities meet heavy low end and club-driven energy.

His work stretches beyond the dance floor, from performing alongside Paul Oakenfold at Everest Base Camp, at 5,380 metres, to scoring films that went on to Cannes and win awards. With releases on Krunk Records and the Soundtrek OST, Ranzen continues to push Nepal’s underground sound into wider consciousness.

Expect indigenous voices, raw textures and bass built to move you.
