Vishal Krishna, born in 1991 in the Banaras Gharana, is a descendant of the legendary Acharya Sukhdev Maharaj family and the 11th generation of dancers. He began his Kathak training at the age of 3 and studied under his grandmother, Sitara Devi, and his father, Pt. Mohan Krishna. Krishna's Kathak showcases unique Banarsi culture features.
