Mehak Mirza Prabhu
Born 1982, she is a storyteller and writer from Mumbai, who is known for innovating oral fictional storytelling. She creates stories in multiple languages. Bringing multiple character alive through voice modulations is one of her unique strength. Mehak is also a scriptwriter, social enthusiast, motivational speaker and mentor. Mehak puts up regular storytelling shows in Hindi, Marathi, Urdu; across India. Her storytelling act ZOYA KI DIWALI was listed as the 'Top 10 theatre acts of 2017' by the Mumbai Theatre guide. Her Claim to Fame moment was when her story “Phir Mohobbat Karni Hai” overnight became a viral sensation, followed by stories such as Kairi ka Achaar and then her Mrs. Dubey series. During lockdown she has successfully run sold out virtual shows such as Play a Part and Suhani ki Shaadi via virtual medium. Which were covered by media publications. Mehak is also a social reform enthusiast and has featured in the campaign THE BRIDGE TALKS, by Caravan Magazine. She also runs a regular one on one mentoring program through her storytelling paathshala 'Jhumritaliaya', in collaboration with Tape a Tale, aiming to discover the storyteller residing in every person. The recent addition to her many endeavors is being a certified Life Story Life Coach from the Transformation Academy, Florida.
