Mir Kashif Iqbal is a guitarist/composer/songwriter best known for being the co-founder, lead guitarist and co-songwriter for the Bangalore based independent rock band Parvaaz. After a decade of touring, recording and writing with Parvaaz, where he shared the stage with the likes of Alt J, Lucky Ali, and most of the prominent acts of the indie music industry, in 2021 Kashif started his solo journey with the release of his Debut Solo Album “Peak Wave Descent” followed up by the Live EP titled "Adaptation" in 2022.

Kashif's playing and songwriting is influenced by classic and progressive rock infused with Urdu and Kashmiri lyrics and has often been described by critics as ethereal and transcendental.
