Mithya is a new performance project by Third Space Collective.

Multiple practitioners of the city have come together to create a series of propositions, experimenting across forms and styles to investigate the interplay of truth and myth.

1. Welcome to Partition World - A world where you can relive the memories of the past to fulfil your destiny. Set in a fictional reality, where memories of Partition create simulations of historical events, attendees of this amusement park find themselves in situations they cannot predict.

This short play is based on the texts 'Welcome to Partition World' by Tarun Saint and 'Amritsar Aa Gaya Hai' by Bhishm Sahni.

2. Khwabghar - An adaptation of Charlotte Beradt’s 'The Third Reich of Dreams', the play discloses dreams of ordinary individuals who neither support nor actively resist the regime. Through disclosing the world that “lies buried, beneath the world of reason”, the piece sketches the figure of a modern alienated and isolated individual experiencing the penetration of totalitarian control into deep recesses of mind.

3. बाघिन- केर, एक लकीर जो बाहर को अंदर से अलग करती है। आप तब तक केर के अंदर हैं जब तक आपका हर एक अंश केर के अंदर है। पर अगर आप केर के बाहर जाना चाहें तो?

उत्तराखंड में बाघ लगने की, बाघ के आदमखोर हो जाने की, कई कहानियां हैं। सालों से यहां इंसान और जानवर के बीच में एक समझौता है पर कभी कभी जब इस समझौते को चुनौती मिलती है तो बचने का एक मात्र तरीका है केर। आप केर के अंदर आ सकते हैं, यहां आप एक दम सुरक्षित हैं। और केर के बाहर आपकी जिम्मेदारी आपके व्यवहार पर है।
