Mochakk (Pedro Maia) is one of the most exciting exports from Brazil's vibrant electronic music culture. His heartfelt passion, innate talent and creativity have propelled him onto the global stage. Known for his heart-on-sleeve performances and infectious energy, he's played a long list of world-class venues, including DC-10 (where he has a residency) and earned acclaim from Mixmag, Rolling Stone and GQ Spain. Spotify featured him on a NYC billboard, Amazon Music included him in their NYE Originals campaign and Beatportal named him their Artist of the Month. Production-wise, his 2025 output includes releases on Ninja Tune and Circoloco Records, which have showcased his diverse, ever-evolving sound. Bridging his key creative outlets - art, music and skate culture - Mochakk has hosted standout, fan-centred events like Tricks and Tracks in Venice Beach, the Mochakk Calling NYC tour and a 5,000-cap festival in Malta featuring Honey Dijon and Bonobo, among others. He ended the year with a record-breaking, sell-out Hollywood Boulevard show and has also launched a fashion label with friends - SORO Lab. Raised in Sorocaba, which is also home to his own nightclub Obliqo, Mochakk's journey began with exploring his parents' eclectic record collection, later inspired by a friend who introduced him to DJing.
