Molela clay art comes from a small village near Udaipur, Rajasthan, known for its unique terracotta plaques featuring deities, village scenes, and nature — all hand-shaped in relief. Traditionally used for shrines, this artform is deeply connected to tribal rituals and storytelling.
In this workshop, you’ll:
Learn the basics of relief work in clay
Sculpt miniature Molela-style motifs like sun faces, trees, or folk figures
Turn your creations into functional fridge magnets with character and tradition
Note: Pieces created in this workshop will not be fired. However, they can be painted and used as decor pieces once dry.
