About the Event

MONSOON RAGAS - Sitar & Sarod Jugalbandi by the Mohan Brothersa musical journey for mood uplifting and mental well-being.

After the success of the first season at Kamani Auditorium in 2024, Mohan Brothers are back with the second edition of Monsoon Ragas, a concert that will take listeners on an immersive journey of monsoon melodies through the Jugalbandi of Mohan Brothers.

Lakshay Mohan (Sitar) & Aayush Mohan (Sarod)

Celebrate the magic of the monsoon through the evocative sounds of Indian classical music in this special concert featuring seasonal Ragas traditionally associated with the rains. The internationally acclaimed Mohan Brothers – Lakshay Mohan and Aayush Mohan – present a soulful Sitar & Sarod jugalbandi, bringing alive the romance, vitality, and longing of the monsoon through intricate musical dialogues.

This rare duet between the Sitar and Sarod is a harmonious blend of two of the most expressive and technically demanding instruments in Indian classical music. A long-standing tradition that is now a rarity, the jugalbandi is elevated by the brothers’ deep connection, artistic sensitivity, and perfectly attuned musical vision.

Accompanied by Pt. Ramkumar Mishra(Tabla) & Pt. Fatehsingh Gangani(Pakhawaj)
