Want to do a chill movie night but wish it was queer? We got you! In collaboration with Social, @pocketsies and @Shorthairedbrownqueer invites you to celebrate the joy of LGBTQIA+ romance on a relaxed Sunday evening. Attending a queer party can be overwhelming for many. So, if loud music is not your scene and just hanging out appeals to you, then get your tickets for this joyride! We’re watching “I Can't Think Straight” together on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 4pm-8pm at SOCIAL, Indiranagar. Unlike the theaters, your tickets include food and beverages worth ₹300. There are limited seats so grab your passes now!
This event is for all age groups and is NOT limited to 21+. Please carry your IDs to purchase or to redeem the coupon on alcohol based beverages.
About the movie:
"I Can't Think Straight" is a beautifully crafted romantic drama that explores the complexities of identity and love. The film follows the journey of Tala, a Jordanian woman from a traditional family, and Leyla, a British-Indian writer, as they navigate their blossoming attraction to one another. Set against the backdrop of cultural expectations and societal norms, Tala and Leyla's relationship challenges them to confront their own desires and find the courage to live authentically. This cinematic gem offers a perfect blend of humor, tenderness, and thought-provoking themes.

The doors open at 4pm. The screening will begin at 4:30pm sharp as we want to wrap up the event on time. The seats will be allotted on a first come, first serve basis only. Limited tickets available. The tickets include a food and beverage coupon worth Rs. 300. This is redeemable on any menu items at Socials, Indiranagar throughout the event. Kindly read the following guidelines to make this event a success:
1. Children below the age of 12 are not permitted.
2. Alcohol will be served at the event but only to those above the legal drinking age of 21 with government ID.
