For an entire generation of Indian children, summer vacations carried a certain rhythm. Long train journeys. The smell of old houses. Afternoons that stretched endlessly beneath slow-moving fans and humming coolers. Radios playing somewhere in the background. Mangoes cut in steel plates. Television rooms gathering around Doordarshan. Tiny rituals that once felt ordinary, but now return as memory.

Nani Ka Ghar is an attempt to revisit that world.

Through poetry, storytelling, sensory installations, nostalgic objects, interactive spaces, games, food, and shared conversations, the experience recreates the feeling of a time that many of us unknowingly left behind while growing up.

At its heart, Nani Ka Ghar explores the idea that nostalgia is not simply about looking back. It is about recognising the emotional homes we continue to carry within us.
