National Poetry Slam by Kavita Kisse Kahaniyaan!

We’re back with something exciting!

After hosting events in 4+ cities and working in the storytelling and poetry space for almost 6 years, Kavita Kisse Kahaniyaan is thrilled to announce a National Level Competition in poetry

Last year, our Spill The Word Fest - Season 1 was a huge success with over 1500+ live audience members and incredible performances from storytellers and poets across the country. Now, we’re gearing up for Season 2, and we want YOU to be a part of it!

How to Participate:

Step 1:

Make a video of yourself performing your best poetry, or you can use your old pre-recorded video. Then, register by filling in your basic details, uploading your video link, and paying the registration fee.

Step 2:

Our judges will review your video based on content and performance. If you make it to the Top 10, you’ll get a chance to perform at a live studio show at Birspark Studio!

Step 3:

The ultimate winner will get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform live in front of 1500+ audience members at Spill The Word Fest - Season 2, sharing the stage with celebrities!

Online submission will end on 6 November 2024.

The Top 10 Round (Top 10 will perform live) will be on 10th November 2024 at birspark Studio, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow

Kindly go through the following Rules & Regulations attentively, before registering yourself!!

The competition is open to all writers Nationwide.

Poetry can be written in any poetic style and on any subject.

A poem in its entirety must be an original work by the person entering the contest.

Only one entry per person is allowed.

The participant must be at least eighteen years of age.

Content either be written in Hindi/English/Hinglish

Content containing language that is vulgar, offensive, or wholly inappropriate will be rejected.

Your submission must take the form of a performed poem, you can submit your entry by Paytm Insider, physical forms of entries will not be accepted.

All entries must be original and submitted as links to YouTube video/Instagram video/Google Drive link. The quality doesn't need to be very professional but ensures that we can see your presence and listen to your performance clearly.

Accurate link placement in the registration form is essential to proper evaluation. Incorrect links might hinder the assessment process.

Entries must not exceed 5 minutes in duration and should present you performing your content.

Each video entry should contain only one poem. Multiple poems in a single video will not be considered.

For Student Entry participants must have a valid college/University/Institute ID, wrong information leads to the disqualification.

Note: Artists need to manage their travel, food & stay on their own.
