Day 0 - Journey to Chikmagalur

As the sun sets over Bangalore, our adventure begins as we head towards Chikmagalur. We`ll embark on a comfortable journey of 300 km in a Tempo Traveler or a Minibus with push-back seats, ensuring a smooth ride for our hikers.

We`ll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations

▪️ 09:00 PM: Start from Banashankari

▪️ 09:15 PM: Board at BTM Layout

▪️ 09:30 PM: Next stop, Silk Board

▪️ 09:45 PM: Assemble at Koramangala

▪️ 10:00 PM: Picking up at Domlur

▪️ 10:15 PM: Meet us at MG Road

▪️ 10:30 PM: Join at KTM Mekhri Circle

▪️ 10:45 PM: Board at Yeshwanthpura

▪️ 11:00 PM: Last pickup at Goraguntepalya

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. Yet, we will make sure that we will cover all the places on the itinerary.

Day 1 – Tea Estate for the Eyes, Temple for the Soul, and Back to Stay

▪️ 06:00 AM - 07:00 AM: Check in the homestay

▪️ 07:00 AM – 08:00 AM: Freshen up and have breakfast

▪️ 09:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Visit Samse Tea Estate

▪️ 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Reach Horanadu Temple, have Darshan and Lunch (Either temple prasadam or lunch in nearby hotel (self-sponsored) 

▪️ 02:30 PM – 04:30 PM: Visit Soormane Falls (Jeep ride *self-sponsored)

▪️ 05:30 PM: Visit Hanging Bridge, Kalasa

▪️ 07:00 PM: Reach Homestay

▪️ 09:00 PM: Enjoy the warmth of the campfire, sharing stories and experiences with fellow travelers. Dinner will be served, and retire for the night.

Day 2 - Netravathi Trek!

▪️ 05:30 AM: Wake-up call

▪️ 06:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Freshen up, have breakfast, and carry a packed lunch

Note: Forest permits are not included. They are subject to availability and will incur an additional cost of INR 505.

▪️ 07:30 AM – 09:00 AM: Travel to the starting point of the Netravathi Trek (Jeep ride)

▪️ 01:30 PM – 02:30 PM: Have packed lunch

▪️ 02:30 PM: Start descent

▪️ 06:00 PM – 06:30 PM: Reach the homestay and sip tea with snacks

▪️ 08:00 PM: Head to Bengaluru and have dinner on the way *(Self-Sponsored)

Drop-off Points: The drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.

Day 3 - Homeward Bound

▪️ 05:30 AM: Reach Bangalore

▪️ 05:15 AM: Silk Board

▪️ 05:20 PM: BTM Layout

▪️ 05:30 PM: Start from Banashankari

Once you’ve reached your drop-off point, it’s time to head home, take a well-deserved rest, and start planning your next adventure!
