About Garbett:-

The climate of Matheran is very cool. The most unforgettable things about Matheran are deep forest and the waterfalls nearby, especially in the rainy season. The beauty of the hill station gets doubled in monsoon. Matheran is true ‘The Best hill station in Maharashtra.

Matheran beautifully covers an area of 8 square kilometers in Sahyadris. This lovely spot was discovered in 1850 by Hugh Poyntz Malet, the collector of Thane district. Garbett’s point is located on the South-west side of Matheran with a grand view of the plateau.

Travel Schedule:-

11.50 Pm:- Meet the Team at Bhivpuri Station.

12.00 Am:- Introduction Round & Start the Trek.

04.30 Am:- Reach the Pleatue & Rest for Some Time.

06.30 Am:- Reach the Point & Enjoy the Sunrise.

08.00 Am:- Reach the Neral Station & Have Breakfast & Tea.

09.00 Am:- Catch the Return Train to Mumbai.

11.00 Am:- Reach Mumbai Tentatively.

Event Cost:- Rs. 600/- Per Person.

Unlimited Breakfast & Tea

Local Transportation to Neral Station.

Local Guidance

Basic First Aid

Trek Cost Excludes:-

Anything Not Mentioned in the Inclusion.

Any Kind of Personal Expenses.

All expenses incurred due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances like roadblocks, bad weather.

 Things to Carry:-

Good Trekking shoes & Extra Pair of floaters.

Extra Pair of Clothes (Optional)

Water (min 2 ltrs) compulsory

Some ready to eat food like biscuits, plum cake, etc.

Medicines if any required

1 packet of electrol, enerzal, glucon D

Avoid Wearing precious ornaments on an event, if possible.

A haversack or backpack to put all the above things to be carried, so hands are free to help each other while trekking. Sling bags / jholas / trolley bags etc not allowed on the event. Please pack accordingly.

Things to Remember:-

A basic toilet facility will be available at the base village.

We advise participants to not opt such event with any medical issues.

We don’t recommend participants to reach the base village with their vehicle as considering complicated routes & respecting everyone’s time.

Smoking/drinking/ Smoke up is strictly prohibited during the event. Anyone found will be expelled from the event immediately.

Trek Leader decision will be final & the argument will be entertained.

Participants Safety is the prime concern for us and will not compromise for the same.

Trek India is not Responsible for any baggage or personal belonging loss/damage and participant are responsible for the same.

Don’t except VIP or Luxurious treatment, as we are going for the Trekking/camping, so be adventures and free.
