We are bringing that exact nostalgic, community vibe back with our special Mother's Day event: "Nimmakayentho Aavakaya Anthe!"

Whether you want to bond with your mom, bring a friend, or just experience the joy of traditional Telugu pickle-making with a great community, this hands-on workshop is for you. As the legendary Bhanumathi garu wrote in Attagari Kathalu, making aavakaya is easy-peasy when you do it together!

What to Expect:

Welcome: Beat the May heat as we welcome you into our indoor AC venue with a chilled, refreshing glass of authentic Kadapa Nannari.

The Masterclass (Hands-On): Roll up your sleeves! We will provide all the fresh, pre-portioned raw materials. You will learn to mix and make your very own Aavakaya. (You even get to choose from a few varieties!)

The Pride: Pack the pickle you just made with your own hands into a beautiful, traditional Jaadi to take home.

The Bhojanam: After the hard work, we sit down together for a soul-satisfying, traditional meal. Enjoy piping hot rice, Muddapappu, a generous pour of fresh Ghee, your freshly made Aavakaya, and cooling Majjiga.
