Noor Chahal gained recognition as a Punjabi singer-songwriter and actor during the 2020 lockdown through her YouTube acoustic covers. Her role in the 2022 film Bajre Da Sitta and the hit song “Surmedani” (over 127 million streams) earned her the Mirchi Music Award for Best Female Vocalist. Her original songs like “Jhalleya Dila” and “Malang" along with her viral covers, helped her cross 1.2 billion streams across the platforms. 

In 2022, Noor made history as the only Punjabi artist in YouTube’s Foundry Class, gaining international exposure. She has performed globally and was named PTC Music’s Rising Star in 2024, cementing her as a significant new talent in Punjabi music and cinema.
