A Free Public Festival for Equality & Peace

The North East Music Festival is a free, public, music-led festival in New Delhi, created to celebrate equality, peace, and community through live performances.

The festival brings together artists from North East India and diverse audiences in a shared, inclusive space where music becomes the common language - beyond labels or differences. The focus is on connection, representation, and pride, with North East culture placed at the heart of the narrative.

Featuring a dynamic mix of folk, indie, rock, and hip-hop, the festival showcases artists such as Parikrama, Rudy Wallang, Girish Pradhan (GATC), Rewben Mashangva, Taba Chake, Reble, Tetseo Sisters, and Borkung Hrangkhawl. Alongside the music, the festival offers curated North East food experiences, interactive engagements, and visually striking immersions that are felt collectively rather than explained.

At its heart, the festival aims to create a welcoming space through Sound Without Conflict, celebrating the diversity of North East culture through music and shared presence.
