Nrityadhara 3 brings together over 100 dancers for an evening dedicated to the beauty, discipline and legacy of Bharatanatyam. Presented by Aayam under the direction of Guru Sindhu Mishra, the annual showcase celebrates the journey of learning through performances by students ranging from young beginners to accomplished senior disciples.
Rooted in the Bharatanatyam bani of the legendary Guru K.N. Dandayudhapani Pillai, the production reflects a rich artistic lineage known for its rhythmic brilliance, expressive storytelling and striking choreography. The evening will feature a thoughtfully curated repertoire including Guru Stuti, Chatusra Alarippu, Jatiswaram, Shivashtakam, Krishna Nee Begane Baro, Sogsuda, Angikam Bhuvanam, Mushak Vaahan and the vibrant finale Kalinga Nartana Thillana.
Blending intricate nritta with evocative abhinaya, the performances explore devotion, mythology, emotion and movement through the classical language of Bharatanatyam. More than a stage presentation, Nrityadhara 3 is a celebration of tradition, mentorship and artistic growth, where every dancer contributes to a shared legacy shaped by years of practice, discipline and passion.
