About the Event

Femme Music is an independent record label dedicated to developing Indian female indie artists, both locally and globally. Our mission is to shift the perception of India’s music scene by championing English-language, female-fronted indie music and providing artists with a sustainable path in the industry.


With the launch of our debut 11-track compilation ‘Nyima Vol. I’ on 28th November, we’re hitting the road! Join us for a 4-city tour featuring the incredible artists from the album.


This show is in collaboration with Oaf, this is their Big Gigs Edition 3.


Bangalore Lineup:


1. Aanchal Bordoloi: Indie folk pop singer-songwriter from Assam, Aanchal Bordoloi has been carving a name for herself in Indian indie music. Now based out of Chennai and Bangalore Aanchal is known for her work that comprises of strong vocals, articulate lyrics and signature acoustic guitar driven music. Her single releases in 2022, Whiskey Blues and Void, was well received and featured in Rolling Stone India’s ‘Best Indian Independent Singles of 2022.


2. Tabitha Kagoo: Goa-based singer-songwriter Tabitha is celebrated for her honest and heartfelt song writing. Over the past seven years, she has crafted songs that blend lyrical sincerity with a raw yet gentle sound. A special educator, she uses music as a powerful tool to connect with her students. Her dual roles reinforce each other, adding depth, empathy, and healing potential to her music. Her debut EP is set to release next year.


3. Sahana Naresh: Chennai-born, multilingual, genre-fluid singer-songwriter and Hindustani classical vocalist Sahana draws from a rich tapestry of influences, Carnatic, Kollywood, Bollywood, and 70s rock. She composes in English, Hindi, and Tamil, crafting music that feels like a conversation with a close friend. Her songs explore shared human experiences, societal challenges, late-night reflections, and the courage to live authentically.
