Tripper Trails offers a curated weekend getaway to the Nilgiris, covering both Ooty and Coonoor. This trip is designed for solo travellers, small groups, and first-time explorers, providing a blend of natural beauty, heritage, and camaraderie.

Ooty Lake and Pine Forest: Enjoy a serene boat ride on Ooty Lake and a peaceful walk through the enchanting pine forest.

Doddabetta Peak: Reach the highest point in the Nilgiris for panoramic views of the surrounding valleys.

Coonoor Exploration: Visit Sim’s Park, Dolphin’s Nose, and the Madras Regiment Museum.

Tea Estate Viewpoint: Experience the lush tea gardens and learn about the tea-making process.

Cultural Immersion: Stroll through local markets and interact with the indigenous tribes of the region.

Day 0

We start our journey overnight from Bengaluru to Ooty at 9:00 PM.

Enjoy a road trip of 8-9 hours with blazing music and a cool breeze.

Day 1

Explore Madras Regiment Museum | The Famous Toy Train ride | Dolphin’s Nose

Arrive at a picturesque homestay surrounded by greenery.

Note: Weekend check-in for Ooty is after 11 AM; use the available washrooms to freshen up.

Freshen up, have breakfast, and depart for Coonoor.

Visit the Madras Regiment Museum, showcasing the regiment's history and artefacts.

Enjoy the famous Toy Train ride, capturing aesthetic photos (subject to ticket availability).

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Visit Dolphin’s Nose for breathtaking views of Kotagiri valley.

Return to the homestay for a campfire night with fun, food, music, and deep conversations before a restful sleep.

After a day of exploring Ooty-Coonoor, indulge in a memorable evening by the bonfire.

(Note - Bonfire is subject to weather conditions)

Following a delicious dinner, enjoy a musical night, or simply marvel at the beautiful night sky.

It's a magical way to unwind and create lasting memories with your companions.

Day 2

Explore Tea Factory | Chocolate Factory | Ooty Lake | Pine Forest.

Wake up to a relaxing morning in the lap of nature. Indulge in some fun activities at the homestay.

Freshen up and have breakfast, then depart to witness the beauty of Ooty.

After breakfast, check out and head towards the Tea Factory and Chocolate Factory to understand the manufacturing process of authentic flavours of tea and chocolate from Ooty.

Head to Ooty Lake, a major attraction where you can enjoy activities like boating, cycling, horse riding, or simply admiring the scenery.

Lunch will be done at a local restaurant. (Due to limited options, please choose whatever is available.)

Later, witness the Pine Forest, a pretty famous spot among directors, be it the Hindi Film Industry or the Tamil Film Industry, offering picturesque views of the mountains all around.

Depart back to Bengaluru by evening and reach the city early morning on Monday.

Day 3

Reach back home with amazing trip memories.

The next early morning, we reach Bengaluru via the same scenic route.

You reach home with a backpack full of amazing memories, stories and experiences. You will have an energetic tale to brag about at family dinner or parties.

Entire travel as per the itinerary by a non-AC tempo traveller/mini bus.

Meals - breakfast on days 1 and 2.

Trip captain throughout the trip.

Accommodation on a triple/quad sharing basis in rooms.

Visit to Ooty Lake, Tea Estate Viewpoint, Ooty Market, Tea Museum, and Pine Forest in Ooty.

Visit to Sim's Park, Dolphin's Nose, Coonoor Market, and Madras Regiment Museum in Coonoor.
